Engineered sound

Your car already has a voice. We tune it — quiet when you need it, uncompromising when you want it, and built for your exact car so it fits like it came from the factory.

Valvetronic

One exhaust. Every mood.

Valves closed. The gas takes the long way through the muffler — discreet for early starts, neighbours and long motorway runs.

Valves opening under load. A deeper, fuller tone when you accelerate, calm again when you cruise.

Valves fully open. The straightest path for the gas and the full voice of the engine.

Available modes depend on the vehicle and how the valves are controlled.

Part by part

What each component does

01 / 06

01

Inlet pipes

Pick up the exhaust from each bank at a V-band flange and carry it into the rear section — the start of the flow path for everything behind them.

02

Crossover

Both banks meet in a shared collector so the exhaust pulses can balance — a smoother, cleaner tone than two separate pipes.

03

Vacuum valves

Vacuum-operated flaps that route the gas through the silencer or straight to the tips. Closed for a discreet tone, open for the full sound.

04

Rear silencer

Its internal chambers shape the final character and volume of the sound before it leaves the car.

05

Outlets & tailpipes

Outlet pipes loop from the silencer ends to the tailpipes — the visible signature of the system, matched to the rear of each car.

06

V-band clamps

Join the sections with a tight, leak-free seal that can be opened again for service without cutting.

The heart of the system

01 / 04

The rear muffler decides how it sounds.

Pipes carry the gas — but it is the valvetronic muffler that shapes what you hear. Scroll to look inside.

02 / 04

Perforated pipes, packing and chambers.

Sound passes through the holes into the packing, which soaks up harsh high frequencies — the gas itself stays in the pipe. Baffles split the shell into chambers that reflect and cancel lower, droning tones.

03 / 04

Valve closed: the long way round.

With the valve shut, the gas has to leave the straight pipe through its perforations into the front chamber, then travel back out through the second pipe. Refined, discreet, no drone.

04 / 04

Valve open: straight through.

Open the valve and most of the gas flows straight from the inlet to the tip — less restriction, the full voice of the engine.

The colour of titanium

01 / 04

It starts bright silver.

Raw titanium weighs around 40% less than steel for the same part — and straight from the tube it looks almost like polished aluminium.

02 / 04

Then comes the heat.

Controlled heat grows a microscopically thin oxide layer on the surface. The hotter the metal gets, the thicker that layer becomes.

03 / 04

Colour made of light, not paint.

The thickness of the layer decides the colour — straw, gold, violet, then deep blue. There is no coating that could chip or peel.

04 / 04

No two are the same.

Heat never spreads exactly the same way twice, so every titanium tip carries a pattern of its own.

01

Titanium

Around 40% lighter than steel. Heat paints it blue, violet and gold — and its thin walls give a sharper, more metallic voice.

02

Stainless steel

Durable, corrosion-resistant and classically polished. Over the miles the pipes near the engine take on a light straw gold.

Why USUS

Four things we never compromise on

01 / 04

Switchable sound

Valvetronic systems open and close on demand, so one exhaust can be discreet in the morning and loud on the weekend.

02 / 04

Vehicle-specific fit

Systems are designed around the original mounting points of each car, which keeps installation clean and reversible.

03 / 04

Tuned, not just loud

X-pipes, resonators and muffler chambers are balanced to give a clean tone without the drone that makes long drives tiring.

04 / 04

Finish you can see

Tailpipes are the part people notice first. Choose the finish that suits your car — polished, black or carbon.

Quick answers

All questions
What is a valvetronic exhaust?

A valvetronic exhaust has electronically controlled valves that open or close a path through the muffler. Closed, the car stays discreet; open, the full sound comes through. Depending on the vehicle the valves are switched by remote, app or the car's drive modes.

Will a USUS system fit my car?

Each system is developed for specific vehicles. Send us the make, model, year and engine and we will confirm which system fits before you order.

Is the exhaust road legal?

Road legality depends on the country and the vehicle. In Germany an aftermarket exhaust needs valid approval documents (such as an EC type-approval or ABE) or an individual inspection. Ask us which documentation is available for your car before ordering.
